Examine What ?

I recently was sent a link to this 'petition', petitioning the Obama administration to "Examine the attempted genocide of the "friendly Indians" assigned to Fort Christanna and Fort Blackmore in VA."

I have a hard time figuring out what this 'petition' is asking for. Looks like I'm not the only one, only 5 signatures with 2 days to go. This 'petition' doesn't even make historical sense.

Who in their right mind has to have 'recognition' from any government, to know who or what  they are ?  Looks like an other attempt by some 'bleeding heart liberal', to create the illusion that the mixed bloods of Southern Appalachia, were poor oppressed 'victims'. Pure hogwash.
