Timeline of Portuguese History

I just ran across this timeline today. I found it interesting. It does state "This is an incomplete list that may never be able to satisfy particular standards for completeness. You can help by expanding it with reliably sourced entries."  To me, the key words are 'reliably sourced'.

As far as I can see, this is a well researched and accurate timeline.

Unfortunately, there is a ton of misinformation around about the history of the Portuguese and the mixed bloods of Southern Appalachia, and the 'theories' of their constructed connection. For what ever reason, 99 % of that misinformation comes from people who are neither descendents of the Portuguese or the Southern Appalachian Mixed Bloods.
