Hello cousin Donald, I just stumbled upon this. Is this Carter family part of our family? I have a lot of 'Carter' matches on FTDNA and 23andMe, but my one lineage, via Delilah Carter of Rye Cove VA, isn't perfectly documented, it's mainly circumstantial.
ReplyDeleteI have no information that our Collins line were kin to the Carter Family. With that said, in the early 1800's we were in the same area of Virginia as where the Carters lived. Rye Cove is in the same present day county, Scott Co. VA
