Sunday Morning Mountain Gospel Music 96

Reunion in Heaven
Written by Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs, sung by The Foggy Mountain Boys

In Memory of  Randall Smiddy and Nelson Gregory Floyd

Reunion in Heaven

As so often down here we'll have a reunion
Our loved ones and friends will be gathered around
Some faces are missed, they've have gone home to heaven
They will be there with Jesus 'til the trumpet shall sound

What a wonderful time we'll have up in Glory
With our blessed Redeemer forever we'll see
And a crown he will give on that great judgment morning
What a happy reunion in Heaven will be

No crepes on the doors in that beautiful city
No sorrow or pain never more ever there
But a body we'll have in the Saviour's own likeness
And a mansion Jesus said he'd go to prepare

What a wonderful time we'll have up in Glory
With our blessed Redeemer forever we'll see
And a crown he will give on that great judgment morning
What a happy reunion in Heaven will be

Thank you for this song in memory of Randy and Greg, Don. You picked perfectly. Bobby remembers Aunt Sophie singing that very song at Lick Creek Holiness Church when he was a boy, and I remember my Grandparents and Uncle singing it at Dripping Springs Baptist Church in Sevier County when I was very young. Thank you from both sides of our families for remembering Bobby's 1st cousin and my 1st cousin.
